About MIHS

Awards and Recognition

Maricopa Integrated Health System has been making a difference in the community for nearly 125 years. We continue to stand by our mission:

"To provide comprehensive and safe care to all of those who live in Maricopa County, including the underserved and medically needy, through high-quality care that keeps our community healthy and self-sufficient.”

We do this around the clock, on a daily basis and are extremely proud of the awards, recognitions and accreditations listed below.

MIHS receives national accreditation from DNV (Det Norske Veritas) Healthcare, Inc.

DNV is one of the world's leading accreditation companies and is the only hospital accreditation program approved by the US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that integrates that new ISO 9001 Quality Management System with the Medicare Conditions of Participation.

DNV Accreditation requires an annual survey and the organization's continual compliance with the DNV accreditation process.

For more information on DNV, visit their website at

Patients, family members and other concerned parties may use the new web form to submit Patient Complaint Report directly to DNV GL - Healthcare.
