Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety Grants Allow MIHS to Expand Its Car Seat and Bicycle Helmet Programs to Protect Our Community's Children
The Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety has awarded Maricopa Integrated Health System nearly $20,000 in grants to expand its child passenger safety program for low-income families throughout Maricopa County and to provide pedestrian and bicycle education and safety equipment.

Maricopa Integrated Health System's Reverified as Arizona's Only Hospital to Provide Adult and Pediatric Trauma Services
After an extensive review, the American College of Surgeons (ACS) reverifed MIHS' hospital as an Adult Trauma Center at Level I status. The designation is the highest level any trauma program in the country can achieve. The Trauma Program was first verified at Level I by the ACS in December 2008.
