Prospective Trainees


Maricopa Integrated Health System (MIHS) participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) as well as, ERAS – the Electronic Residency Application Service – from the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME), Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and American Society of Healthcare Pharmacists (ASHP). Please visit the Electronic Residency Applications Service (ERAS) for more information.

MIHS will accept J-1 visas for qualified residents accepted into an MIHS program, but MIHS does not sponsor residents on J-1 visas. MIHS does not accept or sponsor any other visas for its GME program residents. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.”

MIHS offers a comprehensive list of benefits for those Residents that are employed. For Dental and Pedatric Residents, please see your base program via New York Lutheran or Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
