Hobbies/Interest:  Spending quality time with family and friends, Volunteering with various organizations, playing piano   

What is your vision for the Special Health Care District: To facilitate moving us forward as the District faces new challenges and opportunities with changes to the national and local healthcare scene.  We must stay to true to our Mission, Vision and Values.  I see a new hospital on the horizon if the voters will choose to support that endeavor.

What do you feel are some issues facing the District and how would you resolve them?  The District has an identity crisis in that citizens do not always know who we are and what we contribute to the community.  We need to do a much better job in getting the word out.  To get public input I would like to see the monthly Board meetings held in different locations throughout Maricopa County at least twice per year.

What would you like the public to know about your background and experiences that would serve you well on the Board?  I am an RN with over 34 years of experience, 32 of those years were spent here at MIHS.  Patient care first.
