MEDLINEplus Health Information - MEDLINEplus is a service of the National Library of Medicine. It aims to provide access to extensive information about specific diseases and conditions. It has links to consumer health information from the National Institutes of Health, dictionaries, an encyclopedia, lists of hospitals and physicians, health information in Spanish and other languages, and clinical trials. An excellent starting point for any health information search.
HealthFinder - Federal government consumer health page that is a service of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. There are sections on Hot Topics, News, and Just for You focusing on different groups of people.
Intelihealth - Provides health information from sources such as Harvard Medical School and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Sections on the site include Featured Health Ares, News, Drug Search, and more.
Mayo Clinic Health Oasis - A source of reliable health information directed by a team of Mayo physicians, scientists, writers and educators. Areas of the site include Centers for particular topics and groups of people as well as health news links. Click on the Library or Map link to find additional links to health information.

The Merck Manual of Medical Information - The print Merck Manual Home Edition is available full text online through this web site. This book is an excellent reference when looking up health information.
NOAH: New York Online Access to Health - NOAH seeks to provide high quality full-text health information for consumers that is accurate, timely, relevant and unbiased. NOAH currently supports English and Spanish. It is a joint project which includes The City University of New York, The Metropolitan New York Library Council, The New York Academy of Medicine and The New York Public Library.
