Family Health Center

Services

We offer the following services to help you achieve your health care goals:

Behavioral Health Care
Our licensed outpatient clinicians provide integrated assessment, counseling and medication services. Outpatient psychiatric services are also provided by our on-site psychiatrist.

Dental Care
We offer routine exams and cleanings, oral hygiene, instruction for young patients and parents, digital x-rays, fluoride treatments, restorative treatments and emergency (pain relief) treatments.

Primary Medical Care
All of our medical providers are board certified in the care of individuals living with HIV.  Our health care team encourages patients to actively participate and have a voice in the decisions concerning their health and wellness.  To that end, MyChart allows you to see some of your health information online, communicate with your provider for non-urgent routine concerns, request medication refills, and read some lab and imaging results.

Support services
Through a collaborative effort with Care Directions, McDowell Healthcare Center has on-site Medical Case management services. Or if you choose there are other Medical Case management organizations available. Access to additional on-site services provided through the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS include Nutritional counseling and dietary supplements, Educational and wellness programs, behavioral health counseling and support groups. Avella, a specialty pharmacy, is also located within the building.
