The Institutional Review Board (IRB) of the Maricopa Integrated Health System functions as the committee to review and approve all research to be done within the system. It is empowered to perform all necessary functions to comply with all federal regulations (45CFR 46, 21 CFR 50 and 56) to protect the rights and welfare of human subjects of research.
