Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Our 40-bed NICU unit provides intensive care to critically ill neonates who require close monitoring and specialized attention. The MIHS NICU is able to care for neonates 23 weeks’ gestation and up.

Our skilled doctors, nurses and staff attend high-risk deliveries and are all certified in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Upon request, the NICU medical staff provides consulting services to families experiencing “at-risk” pregnancies and high-risk deliveries.

Surgical services are available on-call 24 hours a day and all surgical procedures are performed on the hospital’s main campus in the operating suites.

NICU services and staff are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are located on the second floor of the main campus.
