Childbirth Preparation Class
When you're expecting, it seems like everyone has advice for you, but when your baby arrives, you still have what seems like thousands of unanswered questions.

To prepare for childbirth, MIHS offers a class for first-time parents. A certified instructor shares information about your last trimester, exercise, labor and delivery, breathing and relaxation techniques, postpartum and the care of newborns. The instructor also shares important information about breastfeeding.

We offer this class in English and Spanish one Saturday a month, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information about these classes and to register, call 602-344-5332.

Postpartum Channel
The Postpartum Channel is on our in-house television 24-hours a day, seven days a week and offers helpful postpartum and newborn education. Offered in both English and in Spanish, this channel gives new parents useful advice on everything from car seats and breastfeeding, to comforting a crying baby and newborn care.
