Patient Care
At
Phoenix Cancer Center, patient care is delivered in a multidisciplinary manner
– diagnoses and treatment options are discussed among a group of specialists
including surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists,
radiologists, nurses and other experts focused on the management of cancer. Inpatient
care is delivered at Maricopa Medical Center, a 541-bed acute care hospital located
in central Phoenix.
The medical center has a full staff in surgery, medicine, pediatrics,
and obstetrics/gynecology that provide excellent care in an academic environment.
Among these doctors are specialists focused on and devoted to
cancer care including medical and hematological oncologists, surgical oncologists
and gynecological oncologists.
