About Us
The Family Learning Centers (FLC) are libraries for patients, their families, and the community. They provide health information, community referrals, education classes, literacy activities, and enrollment assistance.
In response to the needs of parents and children in Maricopa County, MIHS launched the Family Services Initiative to build a Family Learning Center on the 2nd floor of the Comprehensive Health Center. It opened on October 17, 2007.
Building on the success of the first FLC, a second location was built at the South Cental Family Health Center. It opened on December 4, 2009.
