Maternity Package Plan

The Maternity Package Plan for mothers who deliver their babies at Maricopa Medical Center offers complete prenatal maternity care for one affordable price. The Plan offers parents the opportunity to make monthly payments for their maternity care. 

Eligibility Requirements

The mother must agree to deliver her baby at Maricopa Medical Center and sign a Maternity Package Plan agreement. A cash down payment is required at the time the agreement is signed with the balance due at the time of delivery. This agreement is not for patients with health insurance or for patients that are eligible for AHCCCS.

Covered Services

  • Prenatal care from MIHS providers at 12 different Family Health Center locations.
  • One post partum checkup with a physician within 12 weeks of the delivery; two visits for c-section patients.
  • One well baby visit with a physician.

The MIHS Maternity Package Plans have been designed for patients without any type of health care coverage. All plans include Prenatal Care provided at any of the MIHS Family Health Centers or at Maricopa Medical Center. Mother and Baby must both be discharged within the stated time period. The total amount must be paid prior to delivery.

The Meternity Package Plans also include prenatel lab work, one OB ultrasound if indicated, childbirth/parenting classes, well-baby nursery care, post-partum checkup, epidural, oral health exam, and one well-baby visit. And additional $200 will be added to the package rate for twins. High-risk pregnancies include an additional $100 for <300% FPL and $200 +300% FPL. The Maternity Package Plans do not include Multiple Births other than twins, circumcision, X-Rays, additional Ultrasounds, Anesthesa Services, and Special Care Nursery services.
