Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab)

MIHS provides comprehensive cardiovascular care through a team of experienced cardiovascular and imaging specialists. Our decades of experience in treating complex heart and vascular conditions have led MIHS to become recognized regionally for its excellence as a leader in imaging and cardiovascular outcomes.

MIHS is equipped with two Cath Lab suites designed for diagnostic and interventional cardiology. The suites include Philips imaging equipment and a GE MacLab hemodynamic system. Our cardiologists are equipped to diagnose heart disease, correct abnormal heart rhythms, improve blood flow to the heart and help our cardiovascular patients maintain proper heart rates. MIHS offers interventional services that treat patients having MI, patients that need routine angioplasty with stent placement, and closure of a patent foramen ovale (PFO) and atrial septal defects (ASD). MIHS is a radial first lab.

In addition to diagnostic and interventional cardiology, MIHS offers modern electrophysiology services to diagnose and treat electrical conditions in the heart. We offer placement of Pacemakers, AICDs and cardiac resynchronization devices.
