Surgical Undergraduate Research Fluency Plus (SURF+) Program
The SURF+ Program is a summer internship designated for undergraduate university students with an interest in pursuing a career in healthcare. The students are paired with a mentor and introduced to the complexities of clinical research. In addition, they are given the unique opportunity to supplement their research projects with professional development by networking, observing surgeries, shadowing residents and surgeons on trauma call, and attending lectures. Adjunct Research Associate (ARA) Program
The ARA Program is in place to vet a wide variety of volunteers, from students to public health workers to physicians, so that they may participate in research. Application requirements and other documents can be found below.
Grants and Research Internship Program
The Grants and Research Department is currently seeking interns to work on a variety of projects in a public hospital setting. If you would like to earn credit or simply want to gain professional experience, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
